Happy Summer! We’re back with another videodanza, this time from Chile. ANIMAS, directed by Paulo Fernández and Claudia Cortes was created in 2006 and featured in dance film festivals throughout Chile and South America. I chose it because I love the complex use of texture and environment in contrast with the minimalism of the dancer’s actual movement. Until next time…
